Mass at Fr. Agnel School began
from 1994 onwards though the
centre has always been part of
St. Luke’s Church, Defence
Colony. Fr. Johnson was in
charge of the centre in the
beginning. Then Fr. Thomas
Thenath CMI took over from
him. Fr. Jacob Chennath
succeeded him and continued
until Fr. Saji Arakkattu from
the diocese of Idukki was
appointed in July 2003. At
present Fr. James Athikkalam
from the archdiocese of
Changanassery is in charge of
the Syro-Malabar service at
Fr. Agnel School, Gautam Nagar.
All the special services like
Holy Week and Feasts are conducted
together with the Syro-Malabar
community of Defence Colony at
Fr. Agnel School. On 1 August
2007
Fr. Shijo Konuparamban took charge of the
mass centres of Defence Colony
and Gautam Nagar. From March
2010 onwards Fr Stephen
Palatty is in charge. |
