Ayanagar St. John the Baptist Latin parish was erected in 1991. This parish is very close to the fast growing IT city of Gurgaon of Hariyana state. Around fifty Syro Malabar families with an effective strength of two hundred persons wanted to have syro malabar Mass and other activities in the parish and accordingly put in an application for the same to the Archbishop of Delhi as a memorandum. As the parish priest was not ready to allow another Mass (Syro Malabar) in the same parish, people repeated the request to allow them to have the same in a rented house. The same was sanctioned and St.Mary's Mass Centre was inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Jose Edassery, the Coordiantor of Syro Malabar community at A3/16 Phase V, Ayanagar, New Delhi- 110047 at 8.30 am on sunday 21st December 2008. Now regular Mass is celebrated on all Sundays and Days of obligation. The children are having Sunday catechism in seven classes.

A new Church Building constructed under the leadership of Fr Jose Edassery, the Coordinator. The church was blessed on 1st May 2010. On 08th Aug 2010 Fr Binto Kilukkan took over the charge of the mass center. He was replased by Fr Denny Kattayil on 8th Oct 2011.
