After 1995, Fr. Sebastian Vadakumpadan, Fr. John, Fr. Joshy, Fr. Baiju, Fr. George Podipara and Fr. Benny served the community in succession. By the year 2000, Fr. Justin Puthussery was appointed priest in charge of the centre, which boosted the community organisation through house visits, choir group etc. Fr. Thomas from the diocese of Kottayam served the community after Fr. Justin. Syro-Malabar Mass was not regular since there were Latin masses in between.

Rev Fr Thomas Valookaran was appointed as the priest in - charge in 2003. On 15th June 2005 the mass center was raised to the status of a personal parish, with the name St Peter's Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, R K Puram, by His Grace Archbishop Vincent Concessao and Rev Fr Thomas Valookaran was appointed as the first Vicar of the Church. It was a glorious stepping stone for St Peter's Church and it became very active in its faith traditions through Parish Council, Family Units, Catechism, Mathru Jyothis, DSYM (Youth Movement), Charismatic prayer Group, Choir, Altar boy etc.There after Rev Fr Thomas Chirackal Manavalan (12 Feb 2008 to 22 May 2009), Rev Fr Vakkachan Kumpail (22nd May 2009 to 3rd April 2011) served this church as Vicars. The new parish priest Rev Fr Paul Thekkanath took charge of the parish on 3rd April 2011.

The main feast of the church is of St Peter and St Thomas. It is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of July. Feast of St Sebastian and St Alphonsa are also celebrated Solemnly in this church. The church is also famous for its Easter, Christmas and Onam Celebrations.
