In the year 1986 the
Vincentian Congregation
established a house at A-11,
New Krishna Park, Vikaspuri.
Since then regular liturgical
services in Syro-Malabar rite
were conducted in the house.
In 1996 the House was approved
as Mass Centre under Church of
Our Lady of Grace, Vikaspuri.
On 1st July 2003 the centre
was raised as a personal
parish in the Syro-Malabar
rite and Fr. Joseph Keezhedam
VC was appointed parish
priest. It consisted of the
area of Latin parishes of
Vikaspuri and
Mayapuri-Harinagar. Later on
June 15, 2005, Mayapuri was
made an independent Personal
Parish and Fr. Johnson Karingen took charge
of the parish.
