In the year 1999 onwards, there were occasional Syro-Malabar Masses at St. Antony’s School, SDA, Hauz Khas due to non-availability of Syro-Malabar Priest.  The attendance during the Holy Masses was very few.  By the year 2002, a separate regular Holy Mass in Syro-Malabar rite were conducted on Sundays and obligatory days.  During these years, Fr. Benny Parekkatil, Fr. Baiju Vadakumchery, Fr. Shaji Puthura, Fr. Benny Maranparambil and Fr. Martin Mampally looked after the spiritual needs of the faithful.  On July 1, 2003 Hauz Khas Centre was declared as part of the Holy Family Personal Parish, Pushp Vihar.  On July 20, 2003, Fr. Tomy Kandathil took charge as the Parish Priest of Holy Family Parish and he continued to look after the Hauz Khas Centre.  In the meantime, Fr. Reju Kannampuzha was appointed as Assistant Parish Priest to the Holy Family Parish.  On August 1, 2007, Hauz Khas Centre was officially declared as Little Flower Syro-Malabar Personal Parish.  Fr. Joby Padayattil was appointed as its first Parish Priest. The areas covered in the parish are Safdarjung, Green Park, Green Park Extension, Safdarjung Development Area, Hauz Khas, IIT, Jia Sarai, NCERT, Begumpur, Kalu Sarai,Malviya Nagar,  Sarvodaya Enclave, Adchini, Katwaria Sarai, MMTC/STC Colony, PTS (Malaviya Nagar), Lado Sarai, LRS TB Hospital Complex, Mehrauli, Chattarpur etc. Presently the parish has about 1200 members.   Almost all activities of the parish are carried out at the St. Antony’s School premises. At present regular catechism classes are being conducted for about 220 students of our parish on all Sundays.  Recently, Reverend Sisters from the congregation of Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate (MSMI)  has also set up a centre in this parish, which at present is run from a rented building in Mehrauli.  This will cater to the spiritual needs of the faithful in a great way. The parish has a duly constituted Parish Council representing all the above territorial areas divided into 12 Parish Units.  These Parish Units hold regular prayer meetings attended by almost all in the respective Units. It also has a constituent Unit of the Vincent de Paul Society and DSYM.  Normally, the Parish Feast is celebrated on second Sunday of October every year.   The office and the residence of the Parish Priest are located in the newly acquired building of the parish – F-700, Lado Sarai, New Delhi-110030.
