New Catechetical Year

Dear Fathers, Sisters and Teachers,

Greetings from Catechism Department. Hope you are all back fresh after the holidays, and preparations for new Catechetical year has begun. It is to welcome you all to the new Catechetical Year 2007 – 2008.

Let me remind you few things about the New Year;

• As per the schedule, we will begin the new Catechetical Year on Sunday, 8^th July 2007.

• The theme of this year will be Vocation, and the motto is “Catechesis the Lifeline of Vocation”

• Please arrange the yearly programme in parish level in such a way that we give importance to this theme

• To begin the new year enthusiastically, there will be a Teachers’ Training programme on 8^th July 2007 from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm at DonBosco Provincial House, Okhla. All the teachers are earnestly asked to Participate in the programme.  All the priests are also invited to attend the programme.

• Please assign teachers for each class in advance so that they may get prepared.

• Text books, diary, bag, calendar and other materials are arranged and will be distributed on July 8^th.

• Text Book for Class V and VI are also changed this year and Synodal catechetical Text will be introduced. Other classes are the same as last year.
