Greetings
from Delhi Syro Malabar Catechetical Centre.
I
am extremely happy to inform you that
we have completed an academic year successfully.
I believe you will foresee necessary requirements
and plan out for the coming year. Keeping
next years agenda in mind, we had a meeting
and a few suggestions were highlighted.
1.
Vacation Camp for children will be held
at Sanjopuram children’s village. It will
be conducted in two batches.
•
1st Batch: 29th May 06.00 pm to 1st June
01.00 pm for classes 9, 10, 11, 12
• 2nd Batch: 1st June 06.00pm to 4th June
01.00 pm for classes 5, 6, 7, 8
• Admission for five students from each
unit and the number of students must reach
the office before 25th May.
• Camp fee per students is Rs. 300/-
• Please do bring Bible, note books, pen,
lavatory articles etc.
• All those attend the camp must reach
at Okhala Church before 03.00 pm. for
conveyance facility towards Sanjopuram.
2.
Please prepare an annual report of the
Sunday school activities and send it to
the office.
3. If there is any centre so far has not
begun catechism classes, respective fathers
and committee members kindly take special
effort to begin the academic year.
4. Numbers of required text books, diaries,
calendars, bags etc. must reach the office
before 10th June.
5. You might have been informed that we
have decided to include a transliteration
text of Syro Malabar Quarbana in the catechetical
kit.
6. Next Year calendar will portray Pope
John Paul II.
7. Next academic year will begin on 10th
June. All study materials will reach your
centres before that.
8. Delhi Syro Malabar Mission has been
divided into four catechetical Zones for
an enhanced functioning.
South
Zone; Okhala, Pushpvihar, Faridabad,
Kalkaji, Defence Colony, R.K. Puram, Haus
Khaz, Fr. Agnel
East
Zone; Mayur Vihar Phase III,
Trilokpuri, Lakshmi Nagar, Dilshad Garden,
I.P. Extension
West
Zone; Palam, Dwaraka, Vikaspuri,
Janakpuri, Hari Nagar, Cantonment, Gurgaon
North
Zone; Cathedral, Paharganj, Prasadnagar,
Punjabibagh, Ashok Vihar, Rohini, Kingsway
Camp
9. We are planning to organize an Orientation
Programme for teachers at the beginning
of next academic year. The detailed information
will be made known to you later.
