Father, Sister, Cathechism Teachers,
Greetings
from the Syro-Malabar Cathechetical Central
office.
I
hope, the preparations for the new cathechetical
year has been started. The books, Dairy,
Bag, Calendar, Quarbana Books etc. will
be reaching to the respective centres
shortly.
The
catechetical classes will commence from
10th July itself. I would like to remind
you few things for the easy functioning
of the catechism.
1.
The Zonal Orientation Programme for the
teachers should be attended by all. For
any reason, if any one miss the orientation
programme, they should attend the orientation
programme in the nearest zone.
2.
The Delhi Syro-Malabar Catechetical Center
has ben divided in 4 zones. They are as
under:
1.
South Zone: Okhla, Pushpa Vihar,
Faridabd, Kalkaji, Defence Colony, Fr.
Angel, Hauz Khas, R.K.Puram, San joe puram.
2. East Zone: Mayur Vihar Phase-III,
Trilokpuri, Lakshmi Nagar, Dilshad Garden,
I.P.Extention.
3. West Zone: Palam, Dwaraka, Vikaspuri,
Jankpuri, Hari Nagar, Cantonment, Gurgaon.
4. North Zone: Cathedral, Paharganj, Prasad
Nagar, Punjabi Bagh, Ashok Vihar, Rohini,
Kingsway Camp.

1.
West Zone: 9th (Saturday) 5.00
p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Infant Jesus Church
Palam
2. South Zone: 16th (Satuday) 5.00
p.m. to 8.00 p.m.- Santhome Centre Okhla.
3. East Zone: 17th (Sunday) 5.00
p.m. to 8.00 p.m. –218-A, Pocket – A,
Assumption House, Mayur Vihar Phase-II.
4. North Zone – 23rd 5.00 p.m.
to 8.00 p.m (Saturday) Jyothir Bhavan,
FC Convent, Patel Nagar.

The subjects for discussion in the Zonal
Meeting:
a)
Importance of catechism and how can we
do it effectively.
b) Sacraments of Inisiation, why we give
sacraments of Bapitism, Holy Comunion
and confirmation together?
c) Why we take separte catechism for Syro-Malbar
children.
d) An over all view about catechism text
books.
e) Introducing yearly catechetical programme.
5.
Rev. Fr. Jose Edasery will the resouce
person for the classes.
6.
Please try to select the catechism teachers
from the newly announced syro-malabar
parishes before the date of Orientation
Programme so that they all join it.
7.
Soliciting the presence and suggestions
of Respected Fathers in the Zonal meeting.
