Dear Fathers and  Teachers,

Greetings and prayers from Catechetical office. Let me inform you few important things.

1.      First semester Examination; Due to certain reasons the celebration of the Feast of Christ the King and the Eucharistic Procession in the Archdiocese of Delhi is being postponed to Sunday, November 28,which was the scheduled day for our First semester Examination. As a result we are forced to Pre-pone our First Semester Examination to November21, Sunday.Please note the changed  date.

2.      Question Papers for Class XI will also be prepared from the centre, which may help the students to be more serious about the class. Still we give freedom to the teachers of Class XI  to add or delete from the given question papers as we don’t have scholarship Exam for Class XI, for the time being.

3.      Catechism Teachers’ Training Course (CTTC) is arranged for the first time in Delhi Mission, which is scheduled for December 4^th  & 5^th  ( Saturday and Sunday), two days and one night. Please send at least half of the number of teachers from each parish, this year. You may please arrange your official schedules in advance so that you can stay overnight and participate fully in this training session, being held at Navinta, Okhla.

·         Please register the names of the participants for CTTC by November 8, in the prescribed format attached.

·         There will be nominal Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- per head. It can be given either from the parish itself or by the candidate.

4.      All the students are requested to participate in the Bible Convention of the Delhi Mission on October 31, along with their parents. Teachers may ensure the participation of their students.

5.      Prizes and awards for last year’s  Catechism Scholarship Examination will be distributed on    

      October 31, during Convention Meeting. Please inform the rank holders of your parish to be present    

      there with their parents. ( list of rank holders are given on the fourth page of the Catechetical diary or   

      visit www.smmdelhi.com).
